The Scuba Diver course is an entry-level program designed for individuals who want to experience the underwater world but may not have the time to complete a full Open Water Diver certification. It provides the foundational skills and knowledge needed to dive safely under professional supervision.
Online Learning
Begin with digital resources that cover essential theoretical knowledge, such as:
- Basic diving principles, including buoyancy and pressure.
- Equipment handling and maintenance.
- Dive planning and safety procedures.
This self-paced learning ensures you're well-prepared for the practical sessions.
Confined Water Sessions
After completing the theory, you'll practice in a controlled environment like a swimming pool. Under the guidance of your instructor, you'll:
- Learn essential scuba skills, such as mask clearing and regulator retrieval.
- Practice buoyancy control and air-sharing techniques.
- Build confidence in a safe and supportive setting.
These sessions are designed to prepare you for open water dives.
Open Water Dives
The course includes a limited number of open water dives, where you'll:
- Apply the skills learned in confined water sessions.
- Gain experience in real-world diving conditions.
- Explore the underwater environment under professional supervision.
Certification
Upon successful completion of the Scuba Diver course, you'll earn a certification that allows you to dive to a maximum depth of 12 meters (40 feet) under the supervision of a dive professional. This qualification is a stepping stone to the full Open Water Diver certification and opens the door to further underwater exploration.
